Gerard Boon is Managing Director of Boon Brokers, bringing 7 years of experience in the UK mortgage and protection industry. As a CeMAP-qualified mortgage adviser registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Gerard specialises in complex residential lending, adverse credit scenarios, and specialised financial structures.
Beyond advising clients and overseeing editorial accuracy across Boon Brokers, Gerard is a featured author for Financial Times Adviser, Mortgage Strategy and The Intermediary, and regularly contributes expert insight to national media on mortgage rates, lending criteria, housing market trends and regulatory developments.
Gerard graduated from the University of Leeds, where he authored a research-led dissertation on Artificial Intelligence in Financial Intermediation, a topic that continues to inform his forward-thinking approach to modern brokering.
